Core Teacher, Yoga at Yoga Muse | Riverdale, Bronx

Yoga Muse is seeking a thoughtful and dedicated Core Teacher to join our growing teaching team. Yoga Muse is a Vinyasa studio with other pedagogies (restorative, yin, hatha) infused in our classes. Our instructors lead with presence, authenticity, and care for the community we are building. We are looking for teachers who are grounded in their personal practice and passionate about guiding students through meaningful, accessible yoga experiences.

Responsibilities

Teach a minimum of 4 classes per week
Offer occasional substitute coverage for fellow instructors when available
Develop and lead 2 workshops or multi-week series per year
Arrive prepared and on time to create a welcoming, supportive environment for students
Uphold Yoga Muse studio values, teaching standards, and community-centered approach

Qualifications

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (required) from an in-person, Yoga Alliance certified program
500-Hour certification preferred, but not required
Strong understanding of safe alignment, clear cueing, and mindful sequencing
Commitment to continuing education and personal practice
Ideally located in or near Riverdale, Bronx for reliable scheduling
Ability to cultivate connection, inclusivity, and presence in the classroom
