about us

Yoga Muse is a welcoming space where practice becomes a pathway to self-discovery, nourished by inspiration and connection. Located in the heart of Riverdale, NYC, we’ve created an intimate studio where neighbors, teachers, and students gather to move, breathe, and grow together.

Our instructors emphasize the functional, everyday benefits of yoga. Classes are designed to refine breath, deepen awareness, and build alignment and mobility that support well-being in real life.

From strength-building flows to gentle stretches, mindful meditation to healing therapies—Yoga Muse offers space for every body and every journey.

My yoga journey began in 2005 as a complement to my workouts, but it wasn’t until 2010—after being diagnosed with chronic migraines—that I truly discovered its healing power.

My movement journey truly began in 2017, while I was training for a marathon and suffered an injury. Yoga became my tool for healing — helping me stay strong, recover, and continue training.

My fitness journey has truly been a lifelong pursuit. From a young age, I loved being active, sports, movement, and anything that let me connect with my body brought me joy.

I fell in love with Yoga on a yoga retreat in Costa Rica in 2014. I was recovering from my fourth surgery on my knee for a torn meniscus, and yoga along with fascial work and a few other modalities helped me get my body back to where I was before the injuries.

My yoga journey started at a gym, where I attended a class expecting to relax—but it turned out to be much more challenging than I imagined.

My yoga journey started during a very stressful event in my life which kept my nervous system in a constant state of “fight and flight.”

I began practicing yoga at a studio local to my university because I needed to fill a large gap in my schedule, and drop-ins were $5 (if you can believe it!!!!)

My meditation practice began in 2020, when I realized that the old version of me was no longer serving.
