four to the core: instructor Q&A
How did your fitness journey start, and what does it look like today?
My fitness journey has truly been a lifelong pursuit. From a young age, I loved being active, sports, movement, and anything that let me connect with my body brought me joy. As I got older, my passion evolved through running, strength training, and consistent gym sessions. Although Pilates had always been part of my routine, it wasn’t until a few years ago that I fully immersed myself in the practice, and that’s when everything changed. I became completely hooked. I’ve never felt stronger or more connected to my body than through Pilates, especially the classical method.

Today, my fitness routine is a blend of what I love most: the gym, cycling, and energizing fitness classes as well as holistic wellness practices. But it’s my daily Pilates practice that truly grounds me. It’s where I find alignment, strength, and balance - both physically and mentally.
What’s something outside of Pilates that inspires your practice?
I’m inspired by the small but meaningful movements of everyday life. In Pilates, we focus deeply on the stabilizer muscles, building strength from the core outward. I like to carry that same awareness into my daily routines, moving through life with intention, flow, and confidence. It’s a reminder that how we move through the world matters just as much as how we move on the mat.
What do you hope students take away from your classes?
My goal is for students to walk away with a deeper connection to themselves and a sense of curiosity to explore mind body practices further. I hope they leave feeling more aligned, confident, and grounded—excited to grow in their fitness journey.
In three words, how would you describe the vibe of your classes?
Open, Transformative, Authentic
